Here you can view rock carvings that are said to be several thousands of years old. The carvings – of scorpion-like boats viewed from above, galleons and Arabian-style anchors – are interspersed with rows of cup-shaped depressions that were probably used to play traditional games. The rounded stone mounds have carvings scattered right across them but, grey-on-grey, they can be quite hard to spot at first. Once you’ve spied one, however, you’ll quickly pick out others.
