What About The Art? Contemporary Art From China exhibition opens this month as part of the Qatar-China Year of Culture. Curated by celebrated artist Cai Guo-Qiang, it features 15 Chinese artists, and explores the nature of creativity in China through sculpture, painting, video game design, installations and more.

The Laughter Factory
Time Out London’s Best Female Comic Mandy Knight and Ellie Taylor, star of ITV’s Show Me the Funny are on the bill for The Laughter Factory at Rose & Thistle. To celebrate International Women’s Day, this is the first show with two women, accompanied by popular British comic Steve Shanyaski. There’s also free admission for pregnant ladies since research has shown beneficial “happy chemicals” produced by laughter are detectable by babies for up to 24 hours.
