Latino's carnival
A three-day long festival at Latino features the colours and spirit of Brazil in honour of the county’s Rio Carnival. Traditional food, including plenty of meats, house beverages and live shows are going on each evening. Dance and eat the nights away.

See dancing dragons at Spice Market

The latest collections from Marc Jacobs Spring Summer 2016 collection is a celebration of what is present irrespective of its place in time. It acknowledges the past in the digital age with moments captured in the “fleeting now”.

Rio in Ipanema
Feel the vibes of Rio’s notable Carnival at the award-winning churrascaria Ipanema. Chef Gayber Silveira has come from Renaissance São Paulo Hotel to treat Doha dwellers with all the sizzling meats on skewers they can possibly manage – and this includes the exclusive Picanha. Meanwhile, showcasing samba flair on-stage is house band Brazuqa.

National Sports Day
The second Tuesday of February is always dedicated to fitness in Qatar, as the country’s unique public holiday of National Sports Day kicks off. Hordes of colleagues get involved in team-building exercises; city residents hit the gym; and big events such as the Doha Dash, which is this year bringing Olympic gold medalist Dame Kelly Holmes to town, invite people to physically test themselves.
Prices and locations vary. Tuesday February 9, from 7am. Visit
