The Man from U.N.C.L.E
From August 14
A bit of spi-fi comedy to enjoy, The Man from U.N.C.L.E is set at the height of the Cold War as a spy from the CIA named Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and KGB spy Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) have to work together to overcome a mysterious criminal organisation. Certainly worth a gander we think. Oh, and for Hugh Grant lovers, he also has a part to play.

Doha comedy day
29 August
As part of the conclusion of fun at the Summer Festival, there is a dedicated day to all things funny at the QNCC. One comedian and speaker includes Hamad Al-Amari. The Qatari comedian has a thick Republic of Ireland accent and is perhaps the best-recognised comedian in the country. Qatar National Convention Centre, Education City (4470 7000),
