The American rapper is in Doha for one night only, performing at the Sheraton. Hits from the Californian-born artist include Touchdown and Jackie Chan and he is bound to bring an urban vibe to the club.

Mother’s Day events
May 8-10
Plenty of opportunities to treat mum for the American Mother’s Day event, which is actually on May 10. The Marriott Marquis Mother’s Day brunch on May 8 at Crossroads Kitchen or Ipanema will see mums get a discount from Saray Spa and flowers on exit from the brunch. The Doha Marriott at Ras Abu Abboud is offering 50% off the Saturday brunch on May 9 (QR375 full price) and the W Doha is giving special gifts to mum at Market for lunch and dinner on May 10, food priced at QR250.

May 9-10
Three comedians will present stand up. Tiff Stevenson will be headlining, joined by Gareth Evans, who will no doubt be with musical accompaniments and American Billy Wayne Davis completes the line-up. The event venue is small and intimate and for 18+ only.

Qatar’s premier real estate development and investment event returns to the city, with private and professional investors congregating and meeting key industry professionals from Qatar and around the globe at the Doha Exhibition Center. There will also be project developments discussed, including the Qatar Rail project and the stadia for the 2022 World Cup.

Whose line is it?
May 13
A night of laughs awaits as you watch comedians come over with a special performance of the show “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Stephen Frost, Steve Steen, Andy Smart, Ian Coppinger and guest star Joe Rooney will provide the entertainment. Tickets can be purchased from the concierge desk.

Diamond League
May 15
Some of the world’s best athletes are coming to Doha to compete in the Diamond League athletics event, including double Olympic Champion Mo Farah and, potentially, Usain Bolt. In the men’s event there is the 100m, javelin, 400m hurdles and more, while the women’s event also has steeplechase, long jump and discus among others.
