The famous DJ, singer-songwriter and producer will be doing a DJ set at Strata at the InterContinental Doha The City hotel at the HouseOfAfrika event. His dance music is sure to make everyone groove away. It’s on from 9pm-2am and is priced at QR100, inclusive of one refreshment. 21+ only.

South Africa week
April 9- 16
The Grill restaurant loves themes, that’s well known, and for this week it goes all out South African on the menu. Biltong at the ready! And, of course, one of the best ways to start the week is with the brunch on April 10, priced at QR295 for a soft beverage brunch or QR420 for a special package.

Laughter Factory
April 13-14
Carl Donnelly, Ola and Justin Moorhouse are three very funny blokes, and they will be entertaining people at Shehrazad as part of the Laughter Factory monthly gathering at the Radisson. As well as a stand up comedian, Moorhouse has appeared in UK soap Coronation Street, the film Looking for Eric and comedy TV show Pheonix Nights. The event is in association with Time Out and priced at QR140. Doors open 5pm, show stars 8pm.

Wael Shawky
MATHAF: Arab Museum of Modern Art, is presenting a major solo exhibition by Egyptian artist Wael Shawky, running until August 16, with the major focus being on film. This includes large scale installations of two film trilogies and a new film commissioned by MATHAF. There are also marionettes and drawings referencing the artist’s portrayals of history, literature and cinema.

The electronic dance, trance and techno master will be performing what is bound to be a party-popping, bopping set. The German DJ will be bringing a rave to the Sheraton hotel, mixing some of his old classics and some latest tunes as well, including material from his latest studio album The Politics of Dancing 3.
