Marvelllous creatures
Ongoing until July 11
This exhibition focuses on the real and mythical animals that appear in the legends, tales and fables of the Islamic world. Divided into the natural quadrants of earth, air, fire, and water, these marvellous creatures introduce timeless stories, ranging from the 10th to the 19th centuries.

Land of hope and glory
April 3
Enjoy a good old British Night at the Proms Qatar style as part of the conclusions to the British Festival month, with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra doing its own rendition, conducted by Bob Ross. Doors open from 6.30pm and the performance stars at 7.30pm.

Easter brunches
April 3-5
Scores to choose from on both the Friday (3) and special ones on the Sunday, as well. If you’ve got little ones, a good one to choose is the InterContinental Easter brunch on April 5 at Coral, which also happens to be on April 12. The St. Regis Vine brunch on April 3 & 5 has a British inspired menu, and the Marriott Marquis will have a special visit from the Easter Bunny on April 3 at Crossroads Kitchen.

International day of sport
April 4
From 9am, you can have a day celebrating in the name of sport for development and peace. This day is aimed at enhancing sports participation, as well as empowering women and disabled people to play sport, and focusing on encouraging peace building and friendships. There will also be a mini football tournament and guest speakers, including Al-Rayyan basketball player Yasseen Ismail.

Breaback band
April 5
The award-winning five-piece Scottish band will be accompanied by Qatari musician Mohamed Alsaegh as a conclusion to the British festival. The band is a folk group and has twice been nominated as the best group at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, as well as picking up awards in their native Scotland.
